Julia & Othniel Malau-Aduli University Scholarship (JOMAUS) Application Form

The Julia & Othniel Malau-Aduli University Scholarship (JOMAUS) was established in Queensland, Australia, on February 18, 2022, primarily as a for-no-profit charitable family foundation in the memory of this legendary couple whose historical passion for the education of male and female children was unsurpassed. The main purpose is to promote the advancement of tertiary education of Richa indigenous people in particular, and to help relieve poverty by providing degree scholarships for young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to study at any fully recognized Nigerian University. Since its inauguration in 2022, JOMAUS has awarded scholarships to 37 recipients. From 2023 to 2025, yearly scholarship awards were capped at ten (10) recipients (minimum of one year or a maximum of three years) to eligible individual University undergraduate degree applicants only. From 2026, 10 additional scholarships will be awarded to cover KULERE (Richa, Kamwai, Toff, Ambul-Bargesh), MUSHERE (Mushere Central, North, West, Margif-Kopmur), RON EAST-MURWI (Bokkos, Kwatas, Tangur, Bokkos West), RON WEST (Daffo, Sha, Manguna, Gwande-Karfa), & RON CENTRAL (Butura, Mbar, Mangor, Mandar) Wards, thus bringing the total to 20 JOMAUS Awards per year. In addition to your colour passport photo, please attach legible and certified copies of your JAMB and University admission and acceptance letters respectively, officially stamped institutional receipt of payment of acceptance into degree programs by the University, proof of course registration into the University degree program, and indigene certificate submitted by applicants will be thoroughly scrutinized and independently verified before scholarship payment. Only verifiable and current University undergraduate degree admissions will be considered. If you sat the JAMB Exams between April and May 2026, or you are currently in your first year in the University, then you can proceed to fill out this form. If not, please, DON’T proceed, because you will be ineligible to apply. INCOMPLETE or FAKE documents will lead to instant and automatic disqualification.
