
JOMAUS University Scholarships Update
The 2026 JOMAUS Application Forms Open : Friday, 29th May, 2026. The forms will close when the first 20 qualified and complete applications are received from eligible candidates on first-come-first-served basis, OR on Friday, October 30, 2026, whichever comes first. From 2026, 10 additional scholarships will be awarded per year, bringing the total to 20 JOMAUS Awards per year, to cover the five axes of: KULERE (Richa, Ambul- Bargesh, Toff, Kamwai), MUSHERE (Mushere Central, North, West, Margif-Kopmur), RON EAST-MURWI (Bokkos, Kwatas, Tangur, Bokkos West), RON WEST (Daffo, Sha, Manguna, Gwande-Karfa), & RON CENTRAL (Butura, Mbar, Mangor, Mandar) Wards. The scholarship durations range from a minimum of one year to a maximum of three years to eligible and qualified individual applicants commencing their Bachelor degree programs.
The 2025 JOMAUS was awarded to 10 winners at the University of Jos, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Plateau State University Bokkos, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi and Gombe State University. The degree courses include Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Science Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, History & International Studies, Banking and Finance. The online application form opened from Friday, 30th May 2025 (and whichever comes first), and closed on Thursday, 30th October 2025 or when the first 10 qualified & complete applications were received from eligible candidates. The 2025 JOMAUS Applications have now CLOSED.
The 2024 JOMAUS scholarship awards included degree courses in Medicine & Surgery, Engineering, Public Health, Film Arts, Biochemistry and Mass Communication to 7 winners at Achievers University, University of Jos, Ahmadu Bello University, Plateau State University and Federal University of Technology Minna. This brings the total number of JOMAUS scholars between 2022 and 2024 to 27.
